Since 2022 we've been a regular electrical contractor inside CNH Industrial's tractor manufacturing plant at Basildon — machine relocations, busbar supplies, power and data, with individual packages up to £80k, all delivered in a live production environment where downtime is measured in money.
The project pictured is a full ATEX electrical installation for a new workshop facility within the plant. Vehicle workshops bring hazardous-area requirements, and the whole installation — LED high-bay lighting, power, containment and the supplies serving the exhaust extraction systems — was specified and installed to suit, by our CompEx-qualified engineers.
Working inside an operational tractor plant means every stage is planned around production: permits, isolations and out-of-hours working are the routine, not the exception. The installation was tested, inspected and certificated by the same team that built it.
It's the reason industrial clients keep us on site year after year — one contractor who knows the plant, carries the hazardous-area competence in-house, and works around the line rather than stopping it.
